The Cathedral is an active parish church and so please wear clothes that show respect for the sacred character of this place.
A bit of restraint never hurt anyone. Due to the sacred character of the place, food and beverages are prohibited in the Cathedral. Please leave your pets at home. Bringing a dog to church is simply not the thing to do here. Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in the Cathedral. The Cathedral’s interior features are priceless and so we ask that you do not touch them, please. Thank you.
To protect the valuables in the Cathedral, large bags and motorcycle helmets are prohibited. Please leave all large luggage items in the storage boxes in the Information Centre. Prams are permitted inside the Cathedral.
We allow groups of up to 60 visitors. When more than 60 people are visiting as a group, splitting into smaller groups before entering the Cathedral is preferred.
Although it is not currently compulsory, we still recommend: The world has changed and we would like to protect you as well as ourselves. Please bring a respirator and wear it properly during your entire visit (covering nose and mouth). Please clean your hands with the sanitizer provided at the Cathedral entrance and keep a safe distance from other visitors. You just never know…
The Cathedral is wheelchair-accessible. To get around the steps from the road, you may go on the grass. There are only two steps leading into the Cathedral and for these we can provide an access ramp upon request. The Loft is not wheelchair-accessible.
