The Romanesque St. James's Church is located on a hill above the Klejnárka river in the middle of the vast village of Jakub (now part of the village of Církvice). It is a 12th-century building, which is unparalleled in Bohemia. The church has a rectangular ship with an apsidal seal and a distinctly overhanging tower on the western façade.
